Get started
You can fill a page in about two minutes. Install Autofill Forms, pin the icon, save one profile, and press Fill this page.
1. Install and pin
Add the extension from the Chrome Web Store. Chrome hides new icons inside the puzzle menu. Click that menu, then the pin next to Autofill Forms, so the icon stays on the toolbar.
2. Save a profile
Open the popup. The default profile is ready for a name, email, phone, and address. Type the details you reuse. Custom fields sit under the standard list if a site asks for something else, such as a member id.
3. Fill the open page
- Open a normal website with a form. Stay on that tab.
- Click the icon and press Fill this page, or press Ctrl+Shift+U (Command+Shift+U on a Mac).
- Look at the highlighted fields, then submit the form yourself.
The right-click menu can fill the page or insert a single field. Change the shortcut from the link in the popup, which opens Chrome’s shortcut page.
If the first try does nothing
Chrome blocks extensions on its own pages and on the Chrome Web Store. A page with no matching fields also stays empty. Both cases are covered in when a page will not fill.
